We knew that we didn’t want to move. We love the location we are currently in. We like that we have good transport around us and access to shops. A RESiLIFT meant we would be able to stay in the area, and that in particular was the reason we decided to install our lift.
Our lift fits so perfectly in the position it is in. It is a really tight squeeze to get it in next to our front door. But it is the perfect spot as it’s discrete and gives us direct access to our bedroom. It’s become very useful to us at this stage of our lives. For instance, when we go away, we put the luggage in it, and we put the heavy vacuum cleaner in it. The other thing is we found it is very useful for our guests who are not as nimble up and down the stairs as we are, and they are very grateful to have a lift in the house that they can use.
The other great feature is that it’s got clear surroundings so you can see through it, and it doesn’t block any of the views which is a terrific aspect. The other fabulous aspect, of course, is certainty. It doesn’t operate unless you keep your finger on the button. If you accidentally move your foot, it will also trigger the sensor and it will stop.
We love our house, so why would we move? We don’t want to be forced to move because one of us can’t get up the stairs. Having a lift solves that problem. Our RESiLIFT has future-proofed our home.
