The RESiLIFT® was specifically designed so people could safely stay in their two-story or split-level home and eliminate the danger of stairs and at the same time offer the most affordable home elevators on the market. Invented by Tasmanian Engineer Peter van Emmerik, the award-winning RESiLIFT® remains to be Australia’s most affordable and reliable home elevator. “I designed this elevator so people could stay safely in the home they love,” says Peter. “It saves time, effort and money that would otherwise be wasted moving home. It also removes the emotional anguish of being uprooted from your family home.” There are numerous RESiLIFT® safety features. Firstly, the home elevator operates with continuous pressure, giving the operator complete control of the journey for the whole way. There is also an isolating key to turn off the entire home elevator unit in case there are occasions that you would like to stop the elevator from being used (perhaps when the grandkids are over?!). The shaftless design means a safety lid covers the upstairs opening when the elevator is on the lower floor. There are pressure sensitive safety surfaces which stop the elevator if there is an obstruction above or below, as well as…
Installing a RESiLIFT® is half the price of a traditional commercial-style lift in your home. It requires less building modifications and ongoing maintenance than with any other lift.
Safe and easy to use
RESiLIFT® operates with continuous pressure. The operator is in control of the journey for the whole way. By not having a door, RESiLIFT® maximises accessibility and there is no risk of being trapped in your lift. The sensors, grabrail and safety shield reduces the risk of falling out. Read full safety features below.
Manufactured in Australia
RESiLIFT® was designed by an Australian for Australians. We use locally sourced parts to manufacture. This means you have local technical support if needed.
The key components of RESiLIFT® are made from quality products. The hoist is German Engineered and made in Australia by SEW Eurodrive. The extrusions are from Ullrich and all other components are manufactured in Tasmania.
The footprint for a Mirage is incredibly less than one square metre. It is the most compact residential lift on the market taking less space than a shower. We are also able customise the Miracle to fit in very small spaces.
Add value to your home
Installing a RESiLIFT® will add value, convenience and safety to your home. Should you ever decide to sell, these factors is likely to attract more potential buyers and buyers with greater spending capacity.
Here's a short video of Peter's recent visit to Melbourne for a showroom launch party. You can see how smooth the lift operates and the seamless design that can blend into any home environment.
OTHER FEATURES YOU SHOULD KNOW....
LOW MAINTENANCE FEES
The RESiLIFT® has been designed to be maintenance free.
We are so proud of our clever design (other than the fact that we invented the lift) the service fees are minimal!
The doorless feature is the main reason why maintenance is minimal. Remember 90% of the reason why services are required by lift companies is that people are trapped because of door malfunction.
Another reason why our fees are so low is our lifts are 'Through-Floor' residential lifts, therefore they don't require mandatory annual check-ups. We pride ourselves in our reliability.
Because we are truly local, there won't be any waiting around for parts to come from another country, plus the expertise and knowledge are local. All these features reinforce why RESiLIFT® is the smartest purchase to make.
The RESiLIFT® has been designed to use minimal energy. It simply plugs into a standard 10 amp powerpoint and uses less power than a toaster!
This not only keeps running costs to a bare minimum, but installation costs don't require expensive electrical upgrading, saving on costly electrician fees.
SHORT LEAD TIME
The reason we have a short lead time is our lifts are truly local. All the parts are local and easily accessible which minimises wait time. Our service comes with local support and expertise. This is one of the many benefits to an Australian manufactured product. As the lifts are manufactured locally you don't have to wait for it to arrive on a boat from China!
The quick turnaround is also evident in any ongoing services that may be required.
The fast lead time is typically 4-6 weeks but in emergencies can be as short as one week from time of request. [In some circumstances where there has been a medical emergency we have been able to install in less than a week.]
The Miracle and Miracle Max are available in single and dual entries/exits. This provides the customer with an option installing the lift in different locations, and simply walking through (or rolling through if in a wheelchair) the lift in the one direction.

Many thanks for the commemorative key ring — it sits proudly on the safety key in our lift, which by the way still gives us yeoman service.
Congratulations on the sale of 1000 lifts! If all of your customers are as happy as we are, then you’ll have 1000 satisfied customers!
Alf never used the stair climber and now since his knee operation, Alf can’t use the stair climber at all. So we are now thrilled that we can both use our new RESiLIFT safely.
We future-proofed our home and now it is so much easier to get our groceries upstairs.
Far better than I ever imagined! The professionalism of the distributor and installers was outstanding.
Before I couldn’t access the house. Now it’s in a great location and enables me to access the rest of the house giving me complete independence at home.
“After unexpected surgery, we would not have been able to get upstairs had we not installed the lift! We installed RESiLIFT in case of future events, but we did not expect an event this soon, so glad we did!”
RESiLIFTs are the original in-home elevators. The award-winning shaftless design was invented by our very own CEO, Australian engineer Peter van Emmerik. The Residential Lift Company manufactures and distributes the RESiLIFT® range around Australia. Peter’s ground-breaking design is patented and has been replicated across the globe. Pioneering home elevators, Peter’s clever design has enabled the average Australian to afford an in home elevator. Now installing a RESiLIFT® is a fraction of the financial cost of moving homes. The RESiLIFT® can be retrofitted into existing homes with minimal hassle. The home elevator can also be easily installed in new builds. Why install a RESiLIFT in-home elevator? Installing a RESiLIFT® enables people to stay in their split-level home without the limitations and dangers of stairs. In 2019, the RESiLIFT® elevators continue to be Australia’s most affordable in-home elevators on the market with almost 1,500 home elevators installed around the country. Despite the home elevator’s small footprint, RESiLIFT® lifts still fits two people. With the choice of three different sizes, some can accommodate walkers and even wheelchairs. The doorless design means that you can never be trapped in a RESiLIFT® lift. With a huge number of safety features, a RESiLIFT® means you can…
In your home a doorless lift is safer and more convenient than a lift with doors. Safer because you can’t ever get trapped inside and more convenient, because you don’t have to fuss with opening or closing the door. This is a big advantage to those with limited mobility. Let’s face it, you are only travelling 2 meters and it is a controlled environment. Like all machinery there are precautions you need to take when using a doorless lift and the RESiLIFT® has many features to make it easy for you to operate it safely. Advantages to a doorless entrance Maximum accessibility: RESiLIFT® was specifically designed for people with limited mobility. It hard to appreciate the inconvenience of a door when you can easily run up the stairs. But when you have bad knees, a walking frame or need to carry something awkward having a door just impedes your transfer unnecessarily. If you have electronic doors, then by the time you have waited for the lift to come, the doors to open, close and open again you have doubled the time taken to travel. If you have a manual door you need a free hand to operate them. Many homes…
