Future-proofing your home is about being prepared for whatever happens to you or your family members. As we age, the likelihood that we experience limitations to our mobility increases. It may be the result of a past injury or a new diagnosis. For people living in two-storey or split-level homes, stairs may become difficult to navigate and sometimes even dangerous. Faced with this dilemma, some people feel their only choice is to move to a single-level home. On the other hand,” Lyn says, “When my girlfriend broke her ankle very badly and had to have an ankle fusion. Their home has very steep stairs and no bathroom downstairs. Without a lift, it was a nightmare.” RESiLIFT® is not only an affordable solution, it’s a smart choice. RESiLIFT® models are compact and designed with a small footprint.
The smallest model, the Mirage, has a footprint of 1040 mm (W) × 770 mm (D). Its size allows it to fit into almost any home, including spaces such as a linen cupboard or even positioned on an angle in a corner. It is ideal for integrating into existing floorplans that were not originally designed to include a lift.
The largest model, the Miracle Max, is suitable for wheelchair use while still maintaining a compact footprint of 1040 mm (W) × 1370 mm (D). We can customise the depth of the lift car to any size between 770 mm and 1370 mm deep. The width of 1040 mm at the guide rails cannot be altered.
For new builds, the recommended “provision for future lift” dimensions are:
1200 mm × 1200 mm for the Miracle
1200 mm (W) × 1500 mm (D) for the Miracle Max
