Why every two-storey home needs a home elevator Initially associated with the aging population, residential elevators are fast becoming a lifestyle inclusion for all multi level homes. As souring land prices force developers upwards, elevators prove a safer alternative to stairs. Residential lifts are now replacing the dumb waiters being installed to take groceries from the garage to the pantry and laundry chutes previously included in luxury homes. Many people use their elevators for commuting items that are difficult on stairs such as luggage and furniture. Some use them for their sick/older pets, although this is rarely the primary reason for installation. Many people do not want to purchase double storey homes but with land prices cannot afford to have single storey, so installing an elevator resolves that problem. Who benefits from installing a home elevator? Nowadays architects will typically suggest at least a provision for a future lift in new build designs. There are also a number of lifts that can be installed for existing homes, such as the RESiLIFT®. It is not just the homeowner who benefits. Because people do not have to move home, they retain their family memories and community connections. It is much harder for older people…

Proudly Australian. Genuinely Family-Owned.
Over 20 years ago, Tasmanian engineer Peter van Emmerik invented the world’s first through-floor residential lift—now known as RESiLIFT®. Together with his wife, he pioneered a whole new industry to help people stay in the homes they love.
Today, RESiLIFT remains a family-owned and operated business. Every lift is proudly designed and made in Australia, supported by a national network of trusted, family-owned distributors who share our commitment to helping people enjoy their homes longer.
When you install a RESiLIFT, you’ll discover the many benefits this innovative elevator has to offer. Whether it’s overcoming stairs, moving heavy items, or helping loved ones move freely around the home, RESiLIFT is one of the most transformative upgrades a homeowner can make.
AUSTRALIA'S PIONEER 'THROUGH-FLOOR' LIFT
RESiLIFT® is Australia’s pioneer through-floor residential lift — a compact, affordable and reliable solution for overcoming the challenge of stairs in two-storey homes.
Proudly designed and made in Australia, RESiLIFT can be easily installed in both existing and new homes with minimal building works. Despite its small footprint, the lift comfortably fits two people.

Add convenience, safety and value to your home with RESiLIFT.

Most Affordable
The RESiLIFT® is half the price of a commercial-style lift, with less building modifications and minimal ongoing maintenance than any other lift.

Safe & Easy to Use
RESiLIFT® operates with continuous pressure. The operator is in control of the journey for the whole way. The sensors, grabrail and safety shield reduces the risk of falling out. See full features here. Read full safety features.

Manufactured in Australia
RESiLIFT® was designed by an Australian for Australians. We use locally sourced parts to manufacture. This means you have local support if needed.

Quality
The key components of RESiLIFT® are made from quality products. The hoist is German Engineered and made in Australia by SEW Eurodrive. The extrusions are from Ullrich and all other components are manufactured in Tasmania.

Compact Design
The footprint for a Mirage is incredibly less than one square metre. It is the most compact residential lift on the market taking less space than a shower. We are also able customise the Miracle to fit in very small spaces.

Add Value to Your Home
Installing a RESiLIFT® will add value, convenience and safety to your home. Should you decide to sell, it increases the number of potential buyers.
An engineer's preferred home lift
Retired engineer Richard, from Port Melbourne, Victoria, shares how he and his wife Dorothy grew increasingly anxious about navigating their two-storey home. Then they discovered RESiLIFT®—Australia’s pioneer through-floor lift.

HOW WILL IT LOOK?
RESiLIFT® is an elegant solution to staying in your home. The streamline design blends in wonderfully, no matter what style of home.
The clear lift car enables you to see the décor through it and the guiderails can be matched to the wall colour to make it even less visible.
It is so discreet that customers’ friends often ask “Where is your lift?”, even though it might be right in front of them!
You can choose to have the lift free-standing or built-in, either way, it looks amazing.
WHERE CAN IT FIT?
With RESiLIFT's clever unobtrusive design, you'll find the lift will fit in many places in your home. Our trained consultants will help create the optimal location for your lift to work with the flow of your home.
If required, we can also adjust the size to fit in your house.

WHY CHOOSE RESiLIFT?
One important reason why RESiLIFT® is best is that it does not require a shaft, therefore the building works for installation are minimal. You'll be amazed!
RESiLIFT is the most versatile home lift on the market with a small footprint and the ability to customise some models. This is a huge advantage especially for tight spaces like townhouses.
Also, unlike other home lifts, our service fees are minimal, another RESiLIFT delight!
There are so many more features that reinforce that a RESiLFT is the premium choice. We encourage you to speak with us.
WHAT SIZE WOULD YOU LIKE?
We have three different sizes to choose from. Depending on your needs and space available we recommend you choose a lift that will cater to your future needs.
All RESiLIFT® models fit two people. The Mirage is our most compact lift and still enables two people to travel together. The Miracle comfortably fits someone with a walker, and the Miracle Max is able to accommodate a person in a wheelchair. The Miracle range also has through car options with two entrances.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
BLOGS
Future-proofing your home is about being prepared for whatever happens to you or your family members. As we age, the likelihood that we experience limitations to our mobility increases. It may be the result of a past injury or a new diagnosis. For people living in two-storey or split-level homes, stairs may become difficult to navigate and sometimes even dangerous. Faced with this dilemma, some people feel their only choice is to move to a single-level home. Pleased with already having a RESiLIFT installed, Lyn from Gisborne, Victoria shared her experience “I broke my leg just before Christmas one year, and having the lift was a God-send. On the other hand,” Lyn says, “When my girlfriend broke her ankle very badly and had to have an ankle fusion. Their home has very steep stairs and no bathroom downstairs. Without a lift, it was a nightmare.” RESiLIFT® is not only an affordable solution, it’s a smart choice. Because the footprint is so small, our lift can be retrofitted into existing homes with minimal impact. Many people also install our lifts in their holiday homes as they prepare for a sea or tree change. Australians are including lifts in their house designs so…
